To make the upcoming Thanksgiving and Hanukkah celebrations a little more fun for the kids I decided to make these Gelt Pumpkins. Totally easy to make, especially if I can do it. You don’t have to be a crafting fool to do these.
What You Will Need:
- Chocolate Gelt
- Orange Tissue Paper
- Green Tissue Paper
What You Will Do:
- Cut squares out of the orange tissue paper.
- Cut long strips of the green tissue paper.
- Remove gelt from individual wrappers.
- Place the gelt in the center of the orange tissue paper and fold upward as if to cover all the coins.
- Take a piece of the long green tissue and roll it very tight so you can use it to wrap the top of your “pumpkin” without it ripping.
- Once you’ve tied off the top use scissors to make the little stump at the top.
Once done you have a perfect (doesn’t have to be) pumpkin for the kids or adults at your Hanukkah / Thanksgiving dinner.
