I have slacked on my blog a bit, BUT if I truly only had about 343 days to live, I would be living it and growing from situations that arise.
Today, “What are my priorities?” came up for me. So I thought I would begin a list of things I would like to accomplish. For myself, my family, my education, and my long-term career goals. I’m going to list them here, and as I meet the goal or accomplishment, I will highlight the item and see what I can get done before day 1 remains, and anything I don’t accomplish, well, that will move into my rebirth after this practice is complete.
- Pay off all debt
- Pay off college loans
- Get my Master’s Degree in English Literature
- Finish my final assignment for Margaret Cavendish
- Sell all items ready to be purged
- Off my phone by 9 pm nightly until 7 am the next morning for a month straight
- Learn Pointe
- Have a home
- Get a Master’s Degree in Library Science with an emphasis on archives
- Travel to see family in New Jersey
- Travel to see family in Georgia
- Take my niece on a trip outside of California
- Send birthday and anniversary cards to Greg and Kathy
- Don’t order meals out for a month straight
- Drink 64 oz of water daily for a month straight
- Exercise 5 out of 7 days a week for a month straight
- Buy a bed for Aj and me
- Buy a new couch
- Buy Liam new bedroom furniture
I think this is a good start, and maybe I can also update monthly on where I am with these goals. Here’s to prioritizing what matters.
