Today is brought to you by a collage of things that stand out to me whether it be on Instagram, Facebook, Google searches, or trips to Disneyland.
From Left to Right & Top to Bottom:
1. You don’t always need to plan. Sometimes you just need to breathe, trust, let go, and see what happens.
I have a hard time with “Not” Planning. I feel like I’m always planning. I have a friend from Israel and she says I plan too much. I’m not spontaneous. In Israel you never know what could happen with war and people don’t always plan to do things, they just do them. Life is short. I try and remember that because I feel too rigid sometimes. This is something I’m constantly reminding myself to be better at.
2. I used to walk into a room full of people and wonder if they liked me and now I look around the room and wonder if I like them.
This is another thing I work on often. I’m always so sure no one really cares for me. I feel less than when I’m speaking with groups of people. I’ve got to say though I’ve been doing so much better with this because really….What others think of me is none of my business….easier said than believed.
3. Kale – All the benefits of a healthy green veggie.
Truth about Kale and as someone with Chronic Iron Deficiency this is a great veggie to be eating. Sure I won’t absorb much of it but at least I will absorb some.
4. Red Fruits & Veggies – All the benefits of red fruits and veggies.
Not only are red fruits and veggies yummy they’re also good for you! Reminder to eat them often!!
5. No Offense Mom, This was a hell of a lot of work for something you can buy for $5.00 at the store.
I’m a full time working mom with a very busy schedule but I’ve been known (like today) to get up at 5am and bake instead of possibly going and purchasing something. Now in regards to my family I want them to eat super yummy goodness but I have to get better about just running by the store when making for the school events. I think some of the time I still bake is to (a) think of others with food allergies like me and (b) I’m able to try new recipes. I’m a work in progress and getting a bit better at this.

7. The Four Agreements – Be impeccable with your word, Don’t take anything personally, Done make assumptions, Always do your best.
I read the book some time back. This is always something to keep in the back of my thoughts to remind me to be a better person one moment at a time.
8. 10 Reasons to drink more water.
Sometimes I don’t feel I drink enough water. Great to see a bit of information on the importance of water. Fruit infused water is pretty yummy too so why not?
9. 15 Things to give up – 1. Doubting Yourself 2. Negative Thinking 3. Destructive Relationships 4. Fear of Failure 5. Gossiping 6. Criticizing yourself and others 7. Anger 8. Comfort Eating 9. Laziness 10. Negative self talk 11. Procrastination 12. Fear of success 13. All addictions 14. People pleasing 15. Putting others needs above your own.
I don’t have issues in all these areas but I can give up for sure items 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15…..That’s quite of few of those 15.
Again, I’m a work in progress and taking things it seems these days one moment at time. At least I’m willing to work on me and that wasn’t the case at one time.
