Yesterday evening I went to a book reading/signing with one of my dear friends.  I noticed right away that the book the reading was on would be one that my twelve year old would LOVE!  She’s a bit above her age in what she wants to read.  She prefers the darker side of literature so I had to buy her the book which I did. This book Exposure is written as a modern Macbeth.

While browsing the book store I found a great book for my toddler about Darth Vader and Luke.  Now let it be known that I haven’t and may never watch a Star Wars film…ever but I enjoy any humor associated with Darth Vader that I see and I thought this would be fun to read to L.

Finally, I bought me yet another copy of Little Women, I collect all different copies of this book.  This is a hint to anyone thinking “What could I get Kat as a great gift?”

I’m so glad that I can pass on the love of reading to my children.  I’m so glad that my daughter is such a book worm.
