I hate parks and indoor play areas. Yes, I do. The whole time I’m there I’m thinking about what else I can get done. It’s true. Oh and there’s massive germs usually and I’m not a mom who freaks out about germs at all but those places seem to breed sickness. Sorry.

There’s also the boredom factor. Now I see why nannies accompany these little people most of the time in my neighborhood. I get so bored at times and look at my phone and we’ve only been there 5 minutes.

Anywho having to wait for my Tween Princess to get out of her makeup class poor Super Secret Liam Pants had to hang out with me while daddy ran groups so…..to the mall we went.

I wanted really for him to sit in his stroller while I shopped and then he’d get tired and go to sleep but that’s not the case. In reality he was full of energy.

SSLP had so much fun and I had a change in thinking. I was able to relax and he was able to have fun. He did scare me a couple of times climbing on some things where I knew he’d get hurt if he fell but I was right next to him at those times.

I really do dread parks and play areas and I know I am not the only parent who would rather clean then hit the park but seeing how much fun he has makes it worth it. Well it did last night and hopefully going forward and my little man had a blast and used up tons of energy!!
