As a mom of two…a teen with no interest in Valentines Day and a toddler too young to prepare his Valentines for school I get the task of creating a easy but nice Valentine for Daycare.
This year I kept to my “Make it look like I worked hard” theme and created these little bags for class.
You too can do this:
Items Needed
Heart shaped cookies
Candy
Brown paper lunch bags
Baggies
Stickers
Valentines
I took each heart cookie and used cookie frosting and wrote out each child’s name on a cookie with a few hearts.
When the cookies were dry I placed them in a baggy with some conversation hearts and a little bag of M&Ms. (These are really for the parents if the child is too young) keep that in mind. I don’t know many parents who don’t enjoy chocolate.
Place the baggy filled with yummy goodness into the brown paper bag and fold over the top. Using a stapler attach the Valentine to the bag. Personalize the bag using a marker so the teacher knows who the bag belongs to.
You now have a Valentine that looks nice and looks like you put a lot of effort into it. We all need to take the easy way out and buy already baked cookies because who really wants to clean up a big mess?
