Today I was completing paperwork for Liam to receive speech therapy and at looking at his birth records I saw my maiden name Katherine Stacy Tatum.  Yep that was me.

When I got married I changed my name to Katherine Tatum Kastan.  No more Stacy.  I always thought growing up my name was so plain.

I was a bit sad today because I loved my last name Tatum and when I told my dad I got rid of Stacy he seemed a little sad.

I changed my name on facebook today to Katherine Stacy Kastan.  I wonder if anyone (other than those reading my blog) even my dad will notice the name change.

I’m looking into changing my name and boy it’s a lot of work.  May just have to be on facebook so my mom and dad have their Katherine Stacy again.

I wonder how many people totally change their names and regret it too?
