I’ve decided to participate and paid my $20.00 to be part of a weight loss challenge with 25 other women from May 1st to July 1st. Here’s the kicker. The winner will be the one with the most percentage lost. This is based on starting weight and weight lost.
Before I get too thrilled I have to say I am a bad dieter. I get crazy, start obsessing, and basically it’s not good SO I’m going to continue what I’ve been doing (which has been since Monday).
1. Drinking lots more water. I have a stockpile of ice in the freezer and keep making iced waters ALL DAY LONG! Helps my boss has Ice Cold water too.
2. Starchy foods (even Gluten Free isn’t perfect) limited to once a day. So this means I choose when it’s most important to me. Other than that it’s all about protein, fruit, and veggies. (I sometimes suck at this)
3. 1-2 pieces of mini dark chocolate peanut butter cup(s) for a treat. (I don’t suck at this)
4. Exercise, even if walking to destinations instead of driving.
I’m not perfect at this but this seems to be working since Monday. I’ve even lost almost 2 lbs. I’m now not weighing myself until May 1st (having the hubby hide the scale…see obsessed) when I have to send in my weight to begin this adventure in wanting “The Big Prize”!! I’m lucky my feet have my kids tattooed on them (Their names) so the woman running this will know I’m not cheating when I send in my weekly weight photo.
