The Date Jar

Having two kids at two very different ages (3 & 13) makes going on dates hard. I decided to make a date jar for Valentines day.

I took Popsicle sticks and painted some light pink (cheap or free date ideas that can be done weekly) and some red (pricier ones that can be done once a month or bi-monthly). I wrote out the ideas on the sticks and placed them all in a mason jar. I seem to have a lot of them.

Walla, instant Valentines Day gift that can be used year round.

  1. I don’t do Valentine’s Day, but I love, love, love this idea! I’ve been trying to figure out ways to get one-on-one time with the kiddos, and this might help. Thanks for sharing!
