Today marks another 30 days and therefore another person dear to me is featured.

Jenn

We met through mutual friends over the years. We didn’t start getting closer until we had kids. Her first and my second. We started out with meet ups at the zoo with other mommy friends. It was nice to have another mommy in my life but with a lot of the same interests as Moi.

There was this one day I snapped at her. Not because of her but because of things leading up to a event and she happened to be the one in front of me. It’s not as I yelled, I just voiced my frustration and should not have, not to her.

We were able to talk and I was able to explain how I felt hurt and it caused anger. She understood and I do believe that is the only misunderstanding we’ve had. We learned to communicate. Jenn is someone I can bounce my crazy thoughts off of and she doesn’t judge me and I can be there for her too.

This past year was hard for me and my hubby and she was a great friend through it all, when I wanted to run because I was so hurt and I didn’t because I had people like her there for me.

I love her laughter and that if we don’t talk for a bit it’s OK and we pick up right where we left off.

She’s a Super Mom too with two little girls and a photographer and wife. She’s pretty busy but handles herself well. She’s not perfect and doesn’t pretend to be. She’s simply awesome.
