I do believe and have learned that parents need alone time to regroup. Not to sit on their cell phones but to have actual adult conversation without children near by.

Since our adventure with the Four Seasons we’ve learned we don’t need to do nice often but we need to do nice.

We live in what I call a tourist trap being in walking distance of Rodeo Drive. We’ve passed on occasion this hotel The Beverly Wilshire (turns out a Four Seasons hotel) and there’s this restaurant right on Wilshire so long story short we tried THEBlvd and we loved it. The presentation of the food was reason enough.

To complete our outing we walked a bit on Rodeo as we never do and got some French Macaroons at lette. Perfect way to spend a kid free date day.

Seriously, everyone needs breaks from the kids and do things you wouldn’t do with them. Makes for nice days.
