Today I was at a stoplight and in the car next to me was a man using a Map. “What’s that you say?” “You saw a what?”
This man using a old school form of GPS reminded me that:
1. I didn’t have a cell phone until 10 years ago. I didn’t even have a pager. I was so against people expecting me to call when they paged.
2. We didn’t have a video game system until my husband got his Masters degree. I hate video games.
3. iPhone apps are pure evil. (So kidding)
Seriously though my daughter is 12 and has a iPhone. My daughter does her homework on a laptop or on the home computer.
When I was 12 we had old time cordless phones with super long antennas, no laptops, and I played outside until the sun went down.
Today reminded me that once upon a time life was much more simplistic and that I can work a bit each day toward living a life a bit more simple.
