My son made me this Valentine so my husband says. I say it’s for both of us.

Our son couldn’t breathe through his nose for two years and suffered from sleep apnea. He had surgery on August 31st to remove his adenoids and tonsils. It worked! He can now breathe through his nose and hear us correctly instead of like being underwater and hearing people speak.

Because he couldn’t breathe right or hear right for more than a year of his two year old life he’s in speech. From being a premie and these issues he suffers from a mild form of Hypotonia, Dysarthria, and Apraxia. Since speech he’s speaking so much better. Not that of a 2 1/2 year old but better.

I love that I get to experience all over again the gifts at the holidays from L. Our daughter is now 12 and for the most part “Too Cool” to make us presents. It’s OK because I saved all she made in the past.
