Want a great Fried Green Tomato? Do it the simple way:
Green Tomatoes (or pickles)
Low Fat Milk
Gluten Free Fried Food Batter
Garlic Salt & Salt and Pepper Mix for seasoning. I love a mix by Pinch Me Seasonings who I found at my local Farmers Market.
Simply slice tomatoes, soak in milk, and cover with batter/season mix. You then fry them until a nice shade of brown, lay on paper towels to drain the oil, and enjoy once cooled. Simple, easy, and GF.
