It’s a sad day for me.  Sad because I found the daycare Mr. Secret Liam Pants Super Hero will be attending starting April 9th.  Yep, after almost 2 years of lots of mommy & me time mommy has to go back to work.

My best friend reminded me today that things happen for a reason.  Money has been really tight with a new home and my husbands pay cut.  I received an email from my old boss asking me to work for him Monday & Tuesday’s and possibly Friday’s.  Was that a divine intervention? Maybe it was.  Two days a week isn’t a bad thing.  I will still have 3 fun filled days with the boy.

I also need to remember that I’m VERY LUCKY to have had all this time as a SAHM and that I have friends who don’t have the option at all.  I used to be one of them.  I used to have to work and I worked a lot while my husband was in school.  I went back to work before our daughter Kaila was a month old.  A Work-A-Holic I believe I was.

This is a new adventure for us.  At least I will have a nice drive to work two days a week to Malibu.  You can’t beat that, right?
