Today was the first day of my second semester of graduate school. I loved my classes, but here’s my takeaway:
- Don’t eat sugar before French. Your sugar will crash hard, and it won’t be comfortable.
- Make sure some sort of fidget item is with you to stop talking a lot because of your autism. Sharing too much on the first day is never good.
- “Autistic Realism” is a new form of literature I will create.
- Parking in lot 1 works best for getting on campus around 8 am.
Today was also my and the hot neighbor’s four-year domestic partnership anniversary, and we got to enjoy a nice dinner—actually, a so-so dinner, but it was without kids.
Today showed me I’ve got this; it will be a kick-ass semester.
