My autistic brain makes me overthink any project I need to complete. Including, but not limited to: Work, Quizzes, Essays, and Day-to-Day Life. I tend to perform fairly poorly on my first essay of any semester, and on my first one for my Cavendish class, I received a 79% with a lot of feedback. The feedback my professor provided was all items I was already familiar with. I was just overthinking and freezing when writing my paper.
My second essay for this class is due October 21st. Quite some time from today, September 24th. This essay will be on the criticism of two of Cavendish’s plays. To prepare, I’m already reading and will start the paper once it’s complete. This will give me ample time to complete this essay, and like always, the end goal is to receive a higher grade and less feedback.
As I have been looking at how my autism affects my life, it is nice to have these little victories, so I don’t have to feel as though I am constantly drowning.
